Yes — a growing number of Napa and Sonoma estates welcome dogs on their outdoor patios, lawns, and picnic grounds. Policies vary by room and by season, so we only route your day through wineries that genuinely allow dogs (not just tolerate them). Indoor tasting bars are often off-limits even when patios are fine, so we default to seated outdoor pours where your pup can settle at your feet.

No. Nigel drives the whole day. A private vehicle picks you and your dog up from your hotel or rental, handles every mile between wineries, and drops you back at the end of the day. Nobody in your group has to skip a pour, and your dog rides in a clean, cool cabin with water and a blanket instead of a hot rideshare.

For a first visit with a dog, Yountville is usually the easiest — walkable, shaded, and packed with dog-welcoming patios. St. Helena and Rutherford give you the classic Napa estate experience with more lawn space. Calistoga is best for a slower, upvalley day. If you're open to Sonoma County, Sonoma Valley and Healdsburg both lean more casual and dog-forward than downtown Napa.

Tours are 4.5 hours (2 wineries) or 6 hours (3 wineries). We keep the pace deliberate so your dog has shade breaks, water, and time to settle between visits — a tired, happy pup is the whole point.

Every tour is quoted personally. Tell us your date and group size and we'll reply with your price. Tasting fees are collected once you choose your wineries. We pay each winery directly when we book. Pickup and drop-off anywhere in Napa and Sonoma is included. Pickups outside the Napa and Sonoma area are quoted by hand.

At least 48 hours — our minimum lead time, so we can confirm dog-welcoming reservations at each stop. In peak season (April–June and September–October) two weeks of notice is more comfortable, especially for weekends.
