01How many guests can join a tour?+
Our standard private luxury SUV comfortably seats up to six guests plus your dog. For larger parties we can arrange a Sprinter van or coordinate multiple vehicles side-by-side. Just tell us your group size and how many dogs are joining in your inquiry, and we'll confirm the right vehicle before we quote.
02Where do tours start and end?+
We pick up and drop off from anywhere in Napa, Yountville, Rutherford, Oakville, St. Helena, and Calistoga at no extra charge. Pickup from Sonoma or Healdsburg can be arranged with a small travel add-on. San Francisco is its own 7-hour package at $995, with hotel pickup and drop-off, tolls and fuel included. Every tour is round-trip door-to-door so nobody has to drive.
03How are wineries chosen?+
After you inquire, Nigel personally reaches out for a short conversation about your tastes — the varietals you love, the atmospheres you prefer, whether you want hidden boutique cellars or iconic estates, and how your dog does around new people. From that call we hand-build an itinerary of pre-vetted, genuinely dog-welcoming rooms. No two tours run the same route.
04Are tasting fees included?+
Tasting fees are paid directly to each winery and are not included in the tour price. Fees typically run $30–$75 per person per winery depending on the estate and the flight you choose. We'll give you a clear estimate up front.
05What should I bring?+
Just yourselves and your dog — plus a light layer for cooler tasting-room cellars and comfortable shoes if the day includes vineyard walks. We provide chilled water, treats for the pups, and any bites planned around your itinerary. If your dog has a favorite blanket, harness, or bowl, feel free to bring it along; we always travel with backups.
06How far in advance should I book?+
Every tour requires at least 48 hours advance notice — the earliest date you can select in the booking form is two days out. That window gives us time to confirm each winery reservation and hand-craft your itinerary. For weekends, holidays, harvest, and peak season we recommend reserving several weeks ahead.
07What's your cancellation policy?+
Cancellations 7 or more days before your tour receive a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days but more than 72 hours out are charged 50% of the tour price. Cancellations within 72 hours are non-refundable. We'll always try to reschedule when circumstances allow.
08Can you accommodate dietary preferences or special occasions?+
Absolutely. Tell us about birthdays, anniversaries, proposals, or dietary needs — vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, allergies — in your inquiry and we'll coordinate with the wineries and any lunch reservations in advance. Special-occasion touches (cake drop-offs, private-room upgrades, photographer coordination) are standard for us; just ask.
